Song of cicadas

Song of cicadas

May and June in a subtropical monsoon climate are always sultry, rainy and hot.
The air above the ground is baked to the point where it can refract the sunlight.
The mood is always bored.

This was exactly the climate when Anna first arrived, but she was different from other first-time kittens

She was particularly calm and relaxed, quickly adapting to her new environment and not feeling a trace of strangeness or alarm towards us.

Just lazily lying on her back, glasses staring ahead, but not looking at a specific object.

Only, her laziness slightly reveals a bit of fatigue.

Her look is very serious, assuming she has eyebrows, must be slightly wrinkled, in a sweet and gentle cheeks.

As to why.
It was probably due to the hot, rainy May and June.

Nevertheless, my heart still jumped at the prospect of having a new member.
